    Hi,

I actually just have a question about bird cages. My mom has been using a nylon/plastic net called echotone for her cages for years and needs to replace part of it but we can’t find it. Do you know anyone who carries it?

Thanks a lot for all your help. I do like your training methods, they have helped a lot with my timneh and I think my dog is going to be much improved as soon as I get down to business with her.

The vid was fine for me! I have a new Mac!!!
Please tell us what she did?
I purchase the “house manners” and racing to the door didn’t work for my boys or freaking at people or other dogs at the window so i figured out another way, and it worked! Bringing them in to the back yard calmly and didn’t let them in until they settled down. I had to do this about 6 times until they knew what i wanted.
    Cheer,
    Andy

Hi chris if want a big dog that doesn’t smell and doesn’t shed fur get a Bouvier des Flandres. They do require combimg or brushing twice a week though. We just love ours and his temprement is just beautiful. They are also real people dogs and want to be with you all the time. as with all dogs I think you get back what you put in and Bouviers do require good training.

This brought a smile to my face because German Shepherd Dogs are so easy to train because they are so intelligent and enjoy the training.
When you have German Shepherds it’s absolutely vital that you train them – that way you get the best out of them and you know you can trust them.
At one time we owned 3 German Shepherd Dogs and they were no trouble at all, and people use to comment on how good they were.
We’ve had German Shepherds for nearly 40 years now and wouldn’t have any other breed, but you must train your dog then they give you so much pleasure.

This was amazing. Shepherds are really smart and learn fast, but this was AMAZING!! I expecially appreciated it because I have two female rescue pups–about 7 months old now, part wire terrier, so a different temperament than I am used to but really sweet and adorable. However, its good to see something that is on working with more than one dog. So which of your methods did she use??

Very cool video. My two Goldens usually only bark for a reason, but I’m definately going to see what your training says to break them of jumping on visitors and friends.

I hope it’s more than asking the visitor to turn around and ignore them until they settle because I can’t seem to convince my dog-friendly visitors to follow that – believe me, I’ve tried many times.

Any Hands Off training material for friends who won’t obey?

Thank you for the testimony video. These dogs reminded me of my three dogs running around barking biting each other playfully going beserk on the way out to the pasture. We tried the barking instructions you emailed us a few weeks ago and they worked ! My little Windy’s reaction was priceless. Thanks !

i am amazed at your apparent results, but have not purchased the video yet. i will order this today. my dog lunges at the leash if another dog comes along. i am 103 lbs. and he is 90 lbs.. i need help desperately! he is a rescue yellow lab, and has great activity demands which i am unable to give secondary to having chrons disease. any suggestions? i walk him a half hour in a.m. and 45 minutes in p.m. and in the middle of day take him out where he can run and fetch, although tied to a long lead. he has run away before and am not taking any chances. we adore him and he adores us, but not willing to let go of the lead yet. HELP!

Does this man ever stop talking. Repeat him self over and over and over again. He could get 1/2 video done if he STOPPED repeating himself or put together a more informational video if he didn’t repeat himself SOOOO much. Had others listen to his videos too and they all say. ” shut up and get on with it”.

    Charlee Reply:

I couldn’t agree more Shar. His training techniques are brilliant, but boy do you ever wish you could shut him up. It’s not just the constant repeating it’s that whining voice. I watch most of these things with the sound almost off now.

Like some above – she never told the training technique. Is it only her walking out the house first? Is it not saying “to the barn” as dogs run out? She won the prize without saying????

You keep saying you have to use the CORRECT training method Chet, but several people on here have asked WHICH method the lady used. A reply would be not only helpful but polite.

Thease are teaser videos. I have yet to find one that actually tells you something. They all seem to want to see their product. I ordered one from a guy that said it was foolproof. Well, it wasn’t. I was consistant and positive and all he said do. After two weeks there was no change. My do still won’t do off lead heeling and he claimed this would really work. I paid $69 for video. Followed the steps. Nothing. Only thing it did do was help my stays but not off lead heeling. Which I need for competition. I have been training dogs for years and this is the first one I have had that would not heel off lead. Just runs off around ring as soon as she knows the lead is off. I am quite frustrated but not going to spend anymore money on the problem. I have paid for videos and gone to really good trainers. NOTHING works. If someone has another method I can try I will be willing.

I will tell you the tricks of the trade and more specific information on how to get your dog to off leash heel. For now work on that 90% obedience reliance, that is the first step toward even being able to take the next ;)

First of all, the woman is very hard to understand what she is saying. I think she said she was applying Chet’s principles. What principles? I see a lot of people are wondering what the principles and techniques are. Chet is losing on his business here if he will not reveal this technique, because, as I see, a lot of people would like to see WHAT is it that have changed the dogs behaviour and would also like to apply it to their dog training. Why did the video win? No clue, but it is very lame. I would like to see a video showing before, “this is what I did, and look at my dog now!” Sound and clear. Also, where was this video posted that it is shown now, yet there are responses to it as far back as March 2010.
